Frequently Asked Questions
Are the sessions online or face-to-face?
The sessions are online. Every member of our team offers remote coaching via several online video services with preference being MS Teams. Telephone sessions are also possible. We have a preference for a Whatsapp video call, as we can attune to your body language as well as your voice which really helps us deepen the communication and have awareness of other vital information.
And please inquire, as some of us offer Walk & Talk sessions, which is a lovely option and brings some movement and time in nature too!
How will you help me? How does it work?
At Vivita Coaching, we guide you through a powerful journey of self-discovery, nervous system regulation, emotional clarity, and soul-aligned transformation. Our approach blends the best of Western coaching and psychology—such as mindset work, emotional intelligence, and behavioural change—with the richness of Eastern wisdom traditions like mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic awareness.
Through a combination of personalised coaching sessions, embodiment practices, and reflective mentoring, we support you to reconnect with your voice, values, and vision. You’ll learn to move beyond burnout, people-pleasing, and perfectionism, rewire unhelpful beliefs, and take clear, confident action aligned with who you truly are.
Many of our coaches come from strong corporate backgrounds, so we understand the pressures of performance and the deep desire for peace. We meet you exactly where you are—and walk beside you as you begin creating the life you love, on your terms.
How many sessions will I need, and how soon will I feel a shift?
At Vivita, we know transformation isn’t one-size-fits-all. The number of sessions you’ll need depends on your current reality, your desired destination, and the depth of the gap in between. Once we’ve had our initial Clarity & Co-Creation Session, we’ll have a much clearer sense of the support and structure that will serve you best.
Many of our clients report feeling lighter, clearer, and more empowered soon after beginning their coaching journey. Often, just reaching out and taking that first step creates a powerful internal shift. But at Vivita, we don’t offer quick-fix motivation or temporary highs—we offer deep, sustainable transformation rooted in clarity, alignment, and self-leadership.
Our coaching packages aren’t just timeframes—they’re intentional containers. Each one is designed to create a safe, nourishing space for your nervous system to settle, your truth to emerge, and your inner voice to grow stronger than the noise around you.
Some clients experience significant breakthroughs in 6 weeks. Others choose to journey with us for 12 weeks or 6 months to allow for deeper integration and lasting change. There is no right pace—only your pace.

At Vivita, we walk beside you for as long as you need. Because becoming isn’t a destination. It’s a rhythm. And you don’t have to navigate it alone.
How often do we have a session?
Ideally, we meet weekly—especially in the beginning. This helps build real momentum and keeps the energy of your transformation alive and flowing. Anything less can feel a bit like trying to heat a stew with a match… slow, stop-start, and hard to get the depth we’re after. Of course, life happens—if either of us is on holiday, we pause. But consistency is key to creating lasting, meaningful change
Do you offer a free initial conversation?
Yes, absolutely. You’re invited to book a FREE 30-minute Clarity Call—a no-pressure, warm and welcoming space where we can connect, talk through your questions, and explore what’s possible for you.
Think of it as a taster session. We’ll gently explore your goals, challenges, and what kind of support you’re looking for. Most importantly, it gives you the chance to see if we’re a good fit. Coaching is a partnership, and the best results come when there’s trust, connection, and mutual alignment.
If we both feel it’s a match, the next step is a 90-minute Clarity & Co-Creation Session (this one is paid). In this session, we begin to go deeper—looking at key areas of your life like career, relationships, emotions, and what’s really calling for change beneath the surface.
This session sets the foundation for your coaching journey. It helps us create a clear, personalized plan—whether that’s over 6 weeks, 12 weeks, or 6 months—based on what you need and where you’re headed.

How is Transformational Coaching Different from Transitional Coaching?
While both forms of coaching offer powerful support during times of change, Transformational Coaching and Transitional Coaching differ significantly in their focus and depth.
Transformational Coaching is centered on vertical growth—an inner evolution in consciousness, identity, mindset, and self-leadership. It’s about who you are becoming at a soul-deep level. This form of coaching emphasizes being over doing, helping you align with your essence, values, and authentic presence. Rather than forcing outcomes, transformational coaching invites flow, intuition, and inner wisdom to guide the journey. It goes deeper, exploring emotional patterns, belief systems, and the stories that shape your experience. The aim is to expand your inner capacity and create meaningful, lasting change from the inside out. Explore our Coaching packages here
In contrast, Transitional Coaching is more about horizontal change—navigating life events such as a career move, relationship shift, or a new chapter. It’s focused on doing, offering strategies, structure, and support to move from point A to B. Transitional coaching often involves clear goals, timelines, and performance-based outcomes, sometimes driven by external urgency. It provides direction, helping you adapt to change with clarity, resilience, and action.
In essence: Transitional coaching helps you move forward. Transformational coaching helps you evolve. Both can be profoundly supportive—depending on whether you’re ready to adapt or expand.
Therapy vs. Transformational Coaching?
Therapy and transformational coaching both offer meaningful support, but they differ in purpose, approach, and outcomes.
Therapy is designed to heal mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, or trauma. Rooted in evidence-based methods, it focuses on the past to uncover and resolve emotional wounds. Therapists are licensed professionals who diagnose and treat psychological conditions, guiding clients toward emotional stability and improved functioning. Therapy is often long-term and covered by insurance.
Transformational Coaching, by contrast, is a future-focused process that empowers individuals to gain clarity, reconnect with purpose, and take aligned action. It’s designed for those who are functioning but feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or seeking growth. Coaches view clients as whole and capable, helping them navigate change, self-leadership, and personal transformation. Coaching integrates tools from psychology, neuroscience, and spirituality—but does not treat mental illness.
While therapy asks, “Why did this happen?”, coaching asks, “What’s next?”
Therapy fosters healing. Coaching catalyzes growth.
Both create non-judgmental, client-centered spaces and can be deeply impactful. Book a clarity call to find out if Transformational Coaching is the right fit for you.
How to Know If You Need Transformational Coaching or Therapy?
Choosing between transformational coaching and therapy begins with understanding what kind of support you need—and recognizing that both paths can be deeply transformational in different ways.
If you’re facing chronic or clinically diagnosed mental health conditions—like major depression, anxiety disorders, addiction, or complex trauma—therapy is the most appropriate and ethical choice. Therapists are highly trained mental health professionals who have spent years studying clinical psychology, and they are licensed and regulated by national health boards to diagnose and treat mental illness. Their work is deeply grounded in evidence-based methods and focused on healing the past to restore balance and well-being.
Transformational coaching, however, supports those who are functioning but feeling emotionally stuck, disconnected, or ready to step into their next chapter with more clarity, confidence, and self-leadership. Coaching is not a replacement for therapy—it doesn’t diagnose or treat—but it powerfully supports personal growth, emotional regulation, purpose, and aligned action.
Many therapists are now training as coaches, recognizing the immense value of coaching for clients who are ready for transformation beyond healing. Likewise, many coaches are pursuing further studies in psychology, inspired by the depth and rigor of therapeutic work. The two modalities are not in competition—they are complementary, and many professionals are now weaving both to serve the whole person more effectively.
“Can I afford coaching?”
The real question is—can you afford not to?
We understand that coaching is an investment. But let’s talk about the real cost of not investing in your well-being, career, or emotional clarity.
When you delay personal growth, emotional clarity, or career alignment, the financial impact often runs deeper than you realise. Here’s what it might be costing you:
- Medical bills from stress-related illness, adrenal fatigue, anxiety, or burnout
- Therapy or medication down the line when unmanaged emotions become chronic
- Unnecessary spending on quick fixes—retail therapy, takeaways, alcohol, or self-soothing habits
- Career stagnation, missed promotions, or settling for lower-paying jobs
- Lost income from poor interview performance, weak negotiation skills, or unclear direction
- Wasted courses or certifications taken from a place of confusion, not clarity
- Financial fallout from impulsive decisions made in overwhelm or exhaustion
- Inefficient job-hunting, applying randomly without strategy or support
- Staying in toxic work or relationships, which drains energy, time, and often your bank account
- Costly coping mechanisms—from binge spending to wellness fads that don’t stick
All of these can quietly add up to thousands over time.
These hidden costs—emotional, physical, relational, financial—add up quickly.
And they cost far more than a coaching package.
We spend on gyms, skincare, accountants, and consultants—because we know the value of expertise. Coaching is no different. It’s the support that helps you become who you were always meant to be.
So the question isn’t: “Can I afford this?”
The question is: “What is it costing me to stay where I am?”
Vivita is here to walk beside you as you shift from surviving to leading a life you love—with clarity, calm, and courage.
